Marriott Redmond Town Center and Residence Inn

WeSTOC will again be held at a Marriott hotel. There are actually two Marriott properties at this location among the towering Douglas fir trees: the new Redmond Marriott Town Center, and the Marriott Residence Inn. We have a limited number of rooms (25), available to us at the Residence Inn, with the balance of the rooms being at the Marriott. While the rooms at the Residence Inn are more expensive, they offer free continental breakfast, queen studios with a sleeper sofa and a kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove and dishes for those looking to share a larger space and cook some of their own meals. There is also a private, secured parking garage between the two hotels. We have been given the upper deck of the garage for our use during the rally, free of charge!

The Marriot is renowned for fine lodging, excellent service, and great food. This facility is located within a large, upscale, open-air mall (Redmond Town Center), complete with many restaurants, shops, department stores (Macy's, REI, Eddie Bauer, etc.), and an 8 screen movie theater. This location also offers easy central access to all of the rides available in the area to the north, south, east and west!! You're also only 10 miles east of downtown Seattle and its many stores, restaurants and attractions.

 

 

The room rates at the Marriot will be $114/night and $119/night at the Residence Inn. These rates are per room, regardless of the number of occupants. The Marriott will extend a 10% discount on food and beverages at the hotel restaurant and will be providing a coupon book for restaurants and stores within the mall. The organizing committee performed an exhaustive search for the best rates in the Seattle area looking for the best venue and price. One reason WeSTOC XII is being held on a Thursday through Saturday was to avoid the typical mid-week rates of $300+/night at hotels in the area.

 

 

 

 

 

Arrive early, or stay late

We were able to get the group rate at the Marriott and the Residence Inn for the Sunday night following WeSTOC XII, but not for the Wednesday night before the event. Since the nightly rate at the hotels would be nearly double the group rate on Wednesday we recommend either the Eastgate Days Inn, or the Redmond Silver Cloud Inn.
