The next day we walked to the Adam’s Cousin’s bakery and had great bagels before riding back to Kaslo and the fun road then north and across a ferry ride to the final drive to Revelstoke. The ferry is no charge and the lake is surrounded by forested peaks and valleys. We had some lunch then pressed on up to Golden which had lots of traffic in the main road and about 10 minutes of rain but forests and granite mountains all around. For dinner we went to the Kicking Horse restaurant where there was less food for more money , not my suggestion! We all were still hungry so Paul asked Adam how much he wanted for his cleanly eaten rib bone for some scraps! Anyway after dinner right to the store for cookies a roasted chicken and humus and Paul made sandwiches for the group, we survived Golden!
