We met up in Cle Elum on a sunny morning and rode off down thru the Yakima canyon road to Toppenish then to Athena , Oregon. We stopped there for a break and lady was handing out Kiwanis bike rally fliers for Pendleton, more on this later. We then down drove to Enterprise before we had some light rain and cool temps but you could smell the grass and sagebrush. In those canyons we had to be a bit careful with the wet rode so Greg and I hung back and tested his knobby tires on the KLR 650 and me on the Z6 Metzlers to see their stickiness. The Z6’s are great and we had a nice ride anyway. Great stop for a Mexican dinner in Lewiston and a rest was needed for day 2.
