Here are the mounting plates I purchased. A right side plate and a left side plate with a hole for a single powerlet. You can read all about them here on the FJR forum.
I already owned a helmet guardian license plate kit. I removed the locks to use on the new mounting plates.
You have to bend down this brake line on the right side down about 1/8″ for clearance purposes
On the left side you remove the screw shown above to mount the plate

Attaching and soldering the connectors on the power supply lines. I used the power which is attached to my Aboreal Nuetrino Black Box. I use this circuit to power my heated vest. It’s fully automated and temperature controlled.

The helmet guardian hook works great for holding the power cable in place
