Here's something to waste your time on.

2. What's an ST1100 sound like? A few years ago, a new ST owner submitted this sound file to the ST1100 mailing list. Never having seen another ST1100, he wondered if his bike sounded normal. Turns out he did a nice recording job, and his bike sounded normal. (Note. this file is 369 Kb.) Now when you cannot for some reason GO RIDE! you can listen to this and get a "quick fix".
