2010 SPAMS Ride - Day 3 - 8/24/2010 Tuesday
Whistler, BC to Vernon, BC
We left in the morning for Pemberton and then north east, a bumpy road in place but little traffic and nice scenery. Again I attracted a big horn sheep and then later in the ride a crow and a deer! We got into Vernon at the Schell Hotel which was like a time machine from the 70s, but a good location. We tried the small plastic slide in the pool and it worked. Hans a friend of Adams joined us from the Netherlands with a ST 1100. Quite a character and rider, a classis car restorer and 8 bike owner. In the evening we had Thai food which was very good and spicy at least mine was. The group is riding well together and passing and coordination has been great.
