2010 SPAMS Ride - Day 1 - 8/22/2010 Sunday
Seattle to Whistler, BC
We left Sunday morning with clouds in Seattle but soon Paul myself and Radek got rained on from downtown to Marysville. We met Tom, Adam and Chris and also Adams friends Bill and Marsha on a ST1300 for the ride on I 5 to Langley to Allan's house. Allan set up a BBQ so we had burgers and hot dogs and looked at his toys like his radio tower and ham radio set up with more equipment then the NSA! We had a slowdown on Hwy 1 thru Vancouver but the ride up Horseshoe Bay was nice with the good road improvements before the Olympics were held. We checked in at the village and went to The Keg for dinner, of course back in the room everyone was on a cel or computer for the evening.
