2009 SPAMS Ride - Day 4 - 8/4/2009 Tuesday
Folks, <today> we had a nice day but a 80 mile detour because of the fires so we got Into Lassen Volcanic Park and had blue skies and cool temps on nice roads . This park is not packed and has a 8500 ft pass with great vistas. Great road in the park then boring transit as we came down to the valley and into Clear lake which wasnt so clear, with algea stink. Restaurants were closed late so we had minimart food and we hit the hay, Paul had a burrito called 'The Bomb' and trust me the next morning it went off... bigtime.....
