2009 SPAMS Ride - Day 3 - 8/3/2009 Monday
Today we rode to Lakeview Or and then into California.... Nice weather and high desert was cool and we saw the Alkaline lakes then into Burney Ca. This area is smokey with fires in the Lassen Park, 1800 lightning strikes in 48 hrs and 94 fires. Its strange and there are lots of CalTran trucks, helicopters and workers everywhere. We had a nice steak dinner across the street from the hotel and are looking forward to tomorrow. A few facts Greg thinks all cops are 'sons of bitches', Tom may need a new rear tire which Greg will monitor since he spots bald tires from his position very well!! I am doing fine but Greg seems to think from dr4ving behind me that I may have final drive and transmission problems in my future. He says it could be tomorrow or in 20 years. We are not drinking at this moment....
