2008 SPAMS Ride - Day 7 - 6/6/2008
It was a clear morning but cold when again the KLR would not start, Paul pushed it again and it fired up after much cursing by Greg and again concern on his long lasting tire. We thought it may be altitude and cold so we discussed it a bit more. We rode down the pass towards Boise on 21 with great turns and a nice technical section which Paul and I enjoyed a lot on the tight turns with sticky Z6's. It was warm and sunny as we came down to BMW Big Twin Motorcycles for a 45 minute Z6 tire change and great service again we were on the way with Adam being towed down and on the way later in the day with new Dunlops from his Honda dealer. We got into Baker City and Adam came by a bit later after a light rain in the pass to Baker City, Or and hotel.
