2008 SPAMS Ride - Day 5 - 6/4/2008
We had a bit of rain and the KLR would not start after some swearing and
kicking we push started it and rode down the
pass with rain and lights snow 31 degrees. Greg was concerned on his tire as
well. As we got down we headed towards Ten
Sleep pass and again at 9400 feet it got cold and snowed. We stopped to take
pictures and check our gear although I was
fine for the most part on the RT. Greg was coldest but adjusted the gear as we
then headed towards the Teton Park and
pass where it got cold again and flurried. As we came down into the valley the
sun and the amazing mountains made the trip
worth it, Bison were in the valleys and we stopped and got some great pictures
as the sun set on the cloud topped sharp
Grand Teton peaks. We got into Western styled Jackson with the Antler Gate and
after dinner went to bed.
