Techlusion TFI device 7/23/2004
You must remove the tail cover.
The tail section comes off to reveal the ABS and ECU units.
While I had the tail off with easy access to the wiring harness I
went ahead and installed my Priority Plus lighting
mods too.
ECU being removed. ABS unit still in place.
Disconnect the black plug and make the Techlusion connections. You connect to
the
following leads.
#6 - pink/green, #5 - pink/black, #20 - pink/blue, #19 - red/yellow.

Techlusion connections complete. I connected the power and ground to my
switched
audio power buss in the tail.
Tidy up the wires and strap the unit in.
The connection for the right side O2 sensor is in the clear bundle and is a
white plug
I don't have the eliminators at this point so I merely disconnected the plug and
put
black electrician tape over the FI light on the dash. It remains lit after the
sensor is
unplugged.
The right side O2 connector is black and inside this rubber boot
The bike runs very smooth with the Techlusion. Currently I'm only using two
of the four pots on the
device. The green and rpm
pots. The rpm pot is set to 5000 rpms and the green at 3 o'clock. This means
I
get added fuel up to 5000 rpms. You must
disconnect the O2 sensor for this to work or the stock ECU
will sense the added
fuel and compensate negating the benefits of
this device in the lower rpm range.
