40 amp alternator Installation 8/8/2001

This is what it looks like when you have the swingarm and tank
out to start the alternator job.

It's a TIGHT fit getting the new alternator in place.

Before rewiring.

After rewiring. You can just see the alternator in the lower left corner. Note the
red plug with the yellow wires is no longer used, as is the white plug just below the
ew 50 amp fuse.

Note the trim job required to get the alternator dust cover on.
