Tein Hood Dampers from Evasive Motorsports 1/20/2006

Here's what comes in the box.

First attach the extensions and the end fittings. Don't forget the lock-tight!

These bolts get replaced with male studs.

New stud in place.

You need to cut back the weather stripping to allow the dampers to fold down. Use scissors to easily remove about 1".

The hood mounts sandwich between the hinges and the hood. The hood does get elevated by the thickness of the plate.

The damper in place.

You have to remember to close the hood SLOWLY. You can actually bend it if you push too fast!!

The hood stays up nicely without the grand piano strut!
