Audio Link iPod Integration Kit 1/14/2006

I purchased my Audio Link unit from RPM, Revolution Performance Manufacturing. I followed the instructions found
here for most of the installation. The mounting bolt for my radio was rather loose. I used a telescoping magnet to unscrew
and remove the bolt. I reinstalled it by loosely taping it to a socket head to insure I wouldn't drop it. I had to pull rather
hard on the radio head to remove it. Kind of scary, but it came out!

Here's what you see after removing the console on a GT with heated seats.

I used a Dremel to create a small path to feed the iPod cable into the cup holder area. You <can> feed it through next to
brake without making the cut, but I was concerned with having the cable that close to moving parts.

I cut an additional slot in this hole cover to allow the iPod cable through.

Here's what the finished product looks like. I wrapped the Audio Link in foam and left it in the place shown here.

All closed up with the iPod next to my Yaesu 2 meter radio. The lid slides shut over both units.
